Little things are the best, aren't they? Yesterday we enjoyed potatoe pancakes, salad and leftover fruit salad for dinner, popcorn and tea for storytime in the afternoon, and my 11 yo-dd sewing with some stash material just begging to be made into something!
I am enjoying "newspapers" written by my children about the abnormally warm weather, rag rug sewing, clean laundry (and enough hankies on hand again!) and eating lunch outside.
We are enjoying so many simple things, beautiful warmth and sun and anticipation, and now last winter days with wonderful snow and stormy-ness. And good coziness and handwork, sewing.. I enjoy mending too, though I do not do it as often as I should. And doilies too of course. I hope your family is very well, Emmy is so sweet, and so growing. I miss you and wish we could have a long email or chat or tea. Thinking of you and wishing well to all. Happy end of winter and beginning spring! Love, Renee
I just had the most delicious pancakes made by my hubby, and enjoying the beauty of a Spring morning!
ReplyDeleteMany blessings to you today Tonya :)

ReplyDeleteSpring sunshine, stick boats to sail in the creek, the twitter of birds and the return of insect sounds at night! Good stuff.

I seem to be doing a lot of jeans-patching these days! Glad I'm not the only one :)
