Getting into a Rhythm

I am working on creating a weekly rhythm in our home, especially for the younger ones and myself.

So far we have been good about Monday being Baking Day
and
Tuesday is Modeling Day.

Wednesday is supposed to be Painting Day, Thursday, Handwork Day, and Friday, Cleaning Day.

I am very good at starting out the week well and then somehow Wednesday and Thursday don't always happen as planned but I am getting there.

  1. I have been wanting to figure out a daily/weekly rhythm, too. We have Wednesday as baking day, but that's as far as I've gotten. I'm hoping (or I tell myself) that once we get more into our homeschooling groove it will come more easily... I really like the painted rocks idea - there is something about it that is solid and subtle, and good. Thanks for sharing! ~ Annie

  2. Love this! I'm looking forward to my work season ending so that I can be at home more with my little one, and we can get back into our own rhythm at home. Right now things feel like chaos!

  3. How clever and pretty your little rocks are. And how lovely your centerpiece is! It makes me so happy to see your trivet well used and loved. I should make an autumn one for our table.
And I should figure out a painting day for us.
And maybe we can help encourage each other at the more challenging end of the week.
If you called Friday handwork day instead then you could let it stretch into the weekend. I like handwork weekends. But then of course I like handwork everyday!
    Love to you,
    Renee
