A Little Handmade Holiday

Finishing up a little of this and that such as making tags to go on the cocoa mix jars, baking cookies to go with the goodie boxes that will be mailed off to family.  We are also including some of the delicious goodness from our neighbor's business.

Abby and Isaac decorated our living area with a long paper chain.

And yes!  we are ice skating today - there were shouts of joy this morning.

What last minute projects are you working on?
Warm wishes,

  1. I finished packaging up the goodies last night for our teacher gifts (and plunked them in the freezer to stay fresh until Wednesday when we will be delivering them).

Thank you so much for sharing Tonya.

  2. We also made some jars of cocoa mix and other goodies this week:

Thank you Tonya for hosting a Handmade Holiday this year. It has been great fun! Happy Holidays to you and your family!

  3. Oh, have fun ice skating! Looks like so much creativity and joy in preparation for Christmas!

I've posted some of our creative endeavors today. Thanks for inspiring us Tonya. :)

  4. I love the paper chain, my sister and I use to make them all the time.

  7. Oh dear, at the moment EVERYTHING is feeling like a last minute project! But actually, just as you have said, it's just a whole lot of finishing up.

Such goodness you've been cooking up, AND you get to skate already!

  8. we are going skating today too! My husband and son for the first time!

  9. Even though I've been pretty quiet regarding Handmade Holiday over on my blog, I HAVE been participating. I finally got a little something done and posted. More to come in the next few days!

Here's my last few things for our Handmade Holiday.

  11. Unfortunately, due to my daughter's operation last month, handmade Christmas had to be postponed for next year :( But I do enjoy visiting everyone that is participating.

  12. More done and another post!

I'm so excited to see all these projects come to completion. Thanks for another year of inspiration!
