Goats, Apples and Pumpkins

The goats are growing.  It is much fun to let them out of their fenced in area to graze.  They don't go far as they like to stay near people.

Our apples trees are giving us beautiful apples this season.
This morning I am making our first apple anything since last apple season - apple crisp.
Everyone can't wait until it comes out of the oven.

Abraham picked up an apple and said, "One apple up on top."

Abraham is helping me stuff little calico pumpkins.

Just enjoying these moments while trying to keep my grumpiness under control from being tired due to lack of sleep.   I am sure this must be God's way of getting new mothers ready for interrupted sleep in order to nurse in the nights to come.

Warm wishes,
Tonya

  1. I love all the pictures...the pumpkins are so sweet. I have been crocheting a washcloth/dishtowel in a bright orange it reminds of the orange my neighbors maple tree will be in a few short monthes.

I will pray that you will get a little extra sleep each night...

    Blessings to you Tonya,

  2. Poor Tonya! I feel your "pain"! Just a little tiny bit longer and you'll be holding your new one! Me too (I'm due in about a week or two)... I was talking last night to my husband that I do enjoy the first 8 months or so of pregnancy, but in these last few weeks I really wish this little one would hurry up and make his appearance! I'd love to be able to find any comfortable position to sit/stand/ or lay down in! And breathing a nice deep breath would be nice for a change... I feel like my diaphragm has been pushed up into my throat now! Just a little bit longer and they'll be here! And we'll forget all these discomforts until next time :-)

Your apple harvest looks wonderful! Our trees are still much to small to produce. So I'm hoping to find some locally grown apples soon, apple crisp sounds like just the thing today!

  3. Tonya you were on my mind this morning & I logged in just to check for any baby news in your blog. You are on official "baby news watch" from me. :) Heehee. I can't wait to hear about your new wee one!

My due date is in 22 days. I too am terribly uncomfortable. Not much longer! I'm getting excited! For you & me both. :)

  9. Tonya,
I typed a whole entry and Blogger said I was blocked from posting on your page and then the entry was lost. I basically said we've had a down computer and have missed your blog entries, as they are inspiring.
Also, Mike( my Dh) retired to work from home on July 14th and since money has been tight we let our subscription you your newsletter go for a season. We'll miss it but we will be back once we get our home business up and going. Your prayers are appreciated.
    Blessings to you and yours,
