Our 84 year old sweet neighbor came by for a visit on her golf cart.  She loves the children and brought them for a ride which, of course, they love.

Finished with a mostly homegrown, home raised dinner of quiche and roasted potatoes.

  4. We are immersed in wood cutting, splitting, hauling, and stacking duties too. 'Tis the season. But there is no gorgeous quiche and roasted potatoes in our oven. Sigh.

  7. Lovely lovely day. So nice to see the whole family working and hanging out together, and it's so satisfying to see the harvest and firewood being squirreled away for the winter. :)

    Blessings!

  9. I'm with Meredith on wondering about your quiche recipe also! We received our laying hens about a month ago and we are up to 9 eggs a day which is a lot for our small family.
