I know for many of you this is not an unusual sight this winter, but for us it is! Way up here near the Canadian border we just received our biggest storm of the season - probably about 16 inches. Until today, we have only received 2 - 4 inches at a time, a very unusual winter for the north country.
So I will bore you with pictures of the white stuff which is not boring to us at all. Although if it keeps up I am sure we will soon have had enough. But in the meantime, we are enjoying God's beauty!
...how to get the heavy middle on the snow person....
...looking down our driveway... where do we begin to shovel?
Warm wishes,
Tonya
I would have thought that you would get much more snow up there. We sometimes get 2 or 3 feet at a time!
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to take a moment to visit you here.
Lots of love, Renee
This is our fourth winter in northern Vermont and it has been a very snowless winter up until now which is very unusual.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Renee.
Warm wishes, Tonya
We had snow last night but it has turned in rain in Central Maine. However, we were blessed with a "snow day" for my husband which is a great consolation for us!
ReplyDeleteWe've had a lot of snow this year too - gotta love the snow!
ReplyDeleteOur snow has finally petered down to about a foot on the ground, from our last 36" inch storm, but we are due another 18 inches today...I'd say Im looking forward to veggies from the garden, but Im also enjoying the unusuallness of all this snow, but 18 more inches...sigh.

Hooray for the snow! I'm not too far from you. I am so happy for it and hope it stays and continues. My driveway looks the same. We're just trudging through it! Best, Lisa
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr! We're in Puerto Rico just trying to ESCAPE that white stuff! :-)
ReplyDeleteI miss having "too" much snow too! We haven't had alot which is unusual for this part of western MA. I hope you have fun with all the white stuff:-)
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! Love the shot of the middle part of the snowman being place in it's spot. :)
ReplyDeleteenjoy...we've had our share this winter for sure! it sure is pretty...enjoy being cozy!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is in Vermont and I envy her description of epic snow forts, snowball fights, cross-country skiing, and sledding. We have just been getting rain. I've given up wearing a hat. I just let it drip on my head. (May we please have a little snow before winter is over?) love, Beth
ReplyDeleteI love snow storms. And MISS them - although we have been getting a lot of rain - very unusual for Southwestern Arizona.
