I finished knitting up these five gnomes in Peace Fleece's new colors - I like to call them the rustic rainbow gnomes.
The pattern for them can be found here.
I am now offering a kit to make all five of these gnomes in our shop.
I have started knitting the front of the Oz Vest and am enjoying the simple pattern.
To compliment the Peaceful Parenting classes I am taking, I ordered Unconditional Parenting by Alfie Kohn. If you have read this book, I would love to hear what you thought.
Joining in today with Ginny.
your gnomes turned out wonderfully! how exciting. :)
ReplyDeleteI love those gnomes, Tonya! So so cute. I have not read that book, but it is on my list. Would be very interested to hear your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteYour gnomes are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Realy vute gnomes! Love!
ReplyDeletelove the gnomes!
ReplyDeleteHaven't read 'Unconditional Parenting' but it's on my list.
Unfortunately we don't have an english bookshop here and the english section in the library only has novels, so I have to buy most books - can be expensive so I have to 'wait' sometimes!
Love the gnomes. I have read Unconditional Parenting, a few years ago. I really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteThe gnomes are adorable! I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the kit! It's wonderful! (We love the gnome you sent us...) :)
ReplyDeleteThose gnomes are just so cute! Also, enjoyed your kitchen post yesterday. That area is always a struggle for me!
ReplyDeleteI loved Unconditional Parenting, although I find its ideas a little hard to live up to, especially with the under four set....I think as I go along, it is getting easier and more reflexive. I haven't read it in a while...I should pick it up again. What are your thoughts? (And I love the gnomes!)
ReplyDeleteHi Tonya,
ReplyDeleteLovely knits, as always--Very inspiring! I read Unconditional Parenting, and had a hard time connecting with it as much as I had thought I would. The parenting book that has continued to resonate most deeply with me is Simplicity Parenting, by Kim John Payne.
Hope you had a joyous Easter!
