Early yesterday morning these two asked for all of their winter attire and headed out trying to scrape up enough frost to make an ice ball. They succeeded and its home is in our freezer.

ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me how productive your land is within such a short growing season. Snow lies on your ground well after my plants are growing and frost nips your garden long before it visits mine, yet you manage such abundance inbetween!
ReplyDeleteWe had a heavy frosts this morning and it was our second of the season. I'm surprised my flowers are still surviving.

ReplyDeleteHow fun is that! Jack Frost has yet to visit us here; we've been as low as 34F, though, which I'm happy with since I still have tomatoes to harvest.
