On the way home from visiting friends at their farm yesterday evening, we stopped at the general store for a few items and Sarah (who is turning six today!) bought herself a chocolate bar with some of her birthday money.
As we continued on home, I heard Sarah say from the back seat, "Mom, I am trying to save my chocolate bar for after dinner, but it isn't working."
Awww. :D I think that's one of those moments that makes God smile. :D I love the the sweetness and innocence of children. Not to mention the fact that I would have a tough time saving the chocolate too. :)
Oh my, that is just too precious. I try not to laugh too much at the ridiculously cute things children say sometimes, but sometimes it's just too hard to not laugh. Happy birthday Sarah!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend.
Happy 6th Birthday Sarah! I have a difficult time saving my chocolate too - in fact right now i'm eating a green and black's ginger chocolate bar and trying to do the same. Wishing you a year full of hugs, laughter, love and happiness - and maybe a bit more chocolate!
Happy Birthday Sarah.....and oh do I know where you are coming from! Sometimes those simple little chocolate pleasures are too good for delaying! Blessings, Heather
