Three Weeks!

Emmy is wearing a hand knit sweater from our friend and neighbor and little shoes I knit for her.  At three weeks she is more awake, alert and bright-eyed.  She has, also, developed  a fussy time in the evening from about 7:00 - 9:00 pm when she finally falls asleep.  I continue to be in awe of her and fall in love with her a little more each day.

  1. so glad to see!

what a wonderful time. we're slowly getting to know our new son too.. he is 5 months! already! starting to use signs/sign language and develop attachments to toys... and love love love his big sister the most! :) she can really induce some great belly laughs in him. the best!

    have a great week,

  2. I remember those hours...7-9....just like clock work! Be encouraged....they don't last forever.
My little Emmy is 16. :)

  3. She is just beautiful, and you are sweet to keep us updated when you are so busy and sleep-deprived.

  4. She is PERFECT! And such a beautiful model for those yummy handknits.

  5. I can't believe she's already 3 weeks old! You are an amazing mama, My first had the same fussy time...I still remember it so vividly.

  6. Oh, what a blessing- what a precious gift she is!
Ella also had a fussy time in the evenings as a baby. It was difficult to get through- then she outgrew it by 3 months.

  7. I am right there with you, mama! My little George is 6 weeks now and has the same fussy time. I tried eliminating foods but I honestly think it is just busier around the house at that time. I think George is just overstimulated. I figured out that once I can get him to calm down long enough to realize that he is safe and warm and loved, he will burp, nurse, and fall asleep. We are all so in love with him and I can see why some families have so many children. This love is addicting. I love their sweet smell and soft gaze. Best wishes for you and your little sweetie! May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family :-)

  8. Tonya...I have been away from the computer lately but I was anxious to get back to see your sweet girl! Oh my, she's so lovely. That's all I wanted to share, she's so lovely indeed!!!
    xo Jules

  9. So cute! And so sweet. I adore the sweater. She's the perfect model for it.
