Finished Sarah's Hat

Sarah posing for me in her new hat from a free pattern here.  It did come out too big, but she is such a good sport and has worn it whenever we go out anyway.  I love the style, though, the full coverage with the button closure.  It is fairly easy to knit and I look forward to knitting more.

Warm wishes, Tonya

  1. I just love the colors! So pretty:-) I am knitting up nordic hats for all my kiddo's--just have to sew the fleece lining in.

  6. I made one when you first posted the link to the pattern - and I thought they ran a little big. Which size did you use? I used the second to the smallest. Tours is adorable - love the color!

  10. That's a happy looking hat on a fun-loving looking girl! I'd love to see more angles of the hat. The wooden button looks handmade, too. Lovely!

  11. cute hat! i knit up a couple of these before lake was born... one for mama and one for the boy. i agree that they run a little big, as the one for me is rather roomy, but thank goodness lake can just grow into his. :)

thanks for visiting my blog. i'm enjoying yours!
