I have resolved to get outside every morning (instead of waiting until the afternoon) unless it is raining too much (like this morning, except it is snow instead of rain) - and it has been great for my mood and body.
Planting with Abraham
Walking to the end of the driveway with Sarah to put more flowers at her little stand
All worth the extra effort even with Emmy. She does so well sitting for awhile in her stroller and observing all we are doing. And even if she does get fussy soon after, even 10 minutes of fresh air does wonders for all of us.
I have been doing the same thing here since the beginning of the year and it has made a world of difference to my whole being!
ReplyDeleteYou are getting snow?!!! Wow!
I agree! Nothing better than fresh air for everyone's body and soul! I have to remember that when I'm feeling frustrated. have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt is so true how being outdoors and close to nature lifts our spirits. Love your little girls flower stand - very industious! Wishing you all a lovely weekend xx
ReplyDelete(I am a new reader to your blog, and really enjoy following all the crafty things you get up to - thanks for sharing)
A very worthwhile resolve! I find it so difficult sometimes to drag myself outside at all, and then when I do, I am always so happy I did! Have a wonderful weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI always notice that too when I get out in the morning. It would be wonderful to commit to doing it more often. Thanks for the encouragement.
ReplyDeleteTonya,
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived nearby...I would be placing my dollar in that small jar and take my flower...that is the sweetest little shop!!
I love your pictures....I can see you are very blessed!!
I have been hanging out my clothes each morning and I am loving it!! I love feeling the cool new air....I don't think my dryer will get much use for a while...
I hope you have a very blessed weekend!!
~~Renee
I must say that I would be a regular customer to the little shop :) It is good to go out every morning, it is so good to do so. Breathe deeply and give thanks for the beauty that surrounds us.
ReplyDeletem.
Mornings are my favorite time to get out and do things as well. Wish I could buy some of your flowers! Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet little flower business your daughter has,,,,I guess the snow keeps the flowers in their own refrigerator section! Hope it warms up soon for you!
ReplyDeleteHello, I am new to your blog (by way of Joyful Noise!)and really enjoying your posts. I'm hanging my clothes out to dry early these days and loving that first sun and the quietness. Ahh, to hold on to that all day! Enjoy your time outside and walks with the little ones. and oh yes, that is a lovely flower stand :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great resolve. Noah does 10 times better everyday if he spends at least a half our or more outside. It seems to me the longer time he has of free outdoor time, the happier, less mischievous he is. ;)
ReplyDeletelove her little flower stand!!
ReplyDeleteand your post about deliberate thoughtful conscious living.
have a great week!
