Birds

Birds are well loved in our home.

to play with

and to draw - Sarah has asked me to add her new robin bookmarks to our shop along with her chicken note cards.

The goats are doing better!  As this was our first time dealing with this, it was really scary but I am so thankful to all who contacted me with helpful advice.  Also, if anyone wants to learn more about goats, a woman named Tonia has a blog where she shares so much information.  She even emailed me right back when I asked her about our goats.  In many ways, this online world truly is a blessing.  I was also thankful that my neighbor came over after I left a message with her and also assured me that it had happened to her goats and sheep before.

Wishing you a beautiful day,
Tonya

  1. Beautiful robins, Sarah!

My mom's name is Robin and I've always been partial to them. Besides, what better indication of the arrival of spring than those cheery fellows!? :-)

  5. I'm so glad to hear your goats are on the mend! We were sad to hear of the troubles.

Sarah's bird drawings are wonderful. My Sarah is a bird lover (actually she's a only true animal lover) - maybe these will inspire her.

    Love, R

  6. I love chickens! They are such characters:) I would love to have some someday but we have no garden at the moment. Here in the UK there is a growing interest in rehoming ex- battery chickens (caged birds) and a lot of people with small holdings or just large gardens are giving these terribly abused birds a second chance at life, which I think is really brilliant. Hope your chickens are all doing well and keeping you all entertained! :)

Sarah's birds are a delight, as is her entrepeneurial spirit.

  10. So glad your goats are doing better! (I still remember how my childhood pet rabbit died from something my father fed it. Hard.) Birds are well loved here too, and we love your daughter's etsy offerings.
