Came Home to...

... the rest of my beautiful family
... feeling overwhelmed - I have such a hard time transitioning back in and not feeling overwhelmed by all that needs to be done (homeschool, business, unpacking, etc..) but I know it is just because I was away
...  thankful for the clean house
...  some completed projects that Mike took on while caring for the other 4 children while we were gone - pruning the apple trees and finishing the ceramic tiles above our sink (I had told my father that we could find a use for his leftover tiles from his kitchen and I am glad we were able to use them.)

Just settling back in and looking forward to our routine to begin tomorrow.

  1. It is always harder to get back into our regular routines...but it does make our homecoming so much sweeter :) Welcome back!

  2. Your new tile looks very nice! I understand the overwhelmed feeling but then I find when I just get started getting things done isn't as hard as I thought it would be.

  3. Love coming home to a clean house! I find sometimes we leave in such a rush that coming home is a bit dreadful as there is a mess to clean up!

  4. Hello Tonya

Its my visiting day~ I hope you are well. Picking up that you went away. When I leave home, coming back is the best part. Everything is seen through new eyes and I am so grateful that this space of mine is our haven.

Happy homeschooling and love to you
    Lots of love

  8. The tiles are so pretty over the kitchen sink. I understand how you can feel overwhelmed. Sometimes I lack the motivation to restart homeschooling and such. Hope you're feeling encouraged as the week progresses.
