I have been hunting about for a Valentine craft. You've inspired me. I'm going to strap on the snow shoes and see if I can find some birchbark (it's probably all buried, but you never know). I had planned to set some aside on the porch last fall and now I'm regretting that I didn't get to it.
Tonya, we too *just* noticed the suns return and ohhh it feels so good! Just yesterday and today feels like spring may actually be coming! : ) Beautiful moments and photos of your home!
In the top picture, I could barely see the little girl. What a lovely snowy field...we are just starting to see bits of grass, mint, and oregano here in PA!
Oh hasn't this winter weather been just glorious? It's truly been a blessing, hasn't it?! It makes me so happy to be alive. :) I love all that you do with birch bark, Tonya. I love birch so much- we don't have much here in our Ash Grove. . .
This winter has been just perfect, I must say. A perfect winter in all regards. True and honest cold, fluffy snow, and clean and clear blue skies. Have fun!
Oh gosh it looks so cold! Good to know chickens are ok in all the snow. I worry around here when it drops into the 30's, but I guess I shouldn't too much. Love the napkin ring. so simple and sweet.
Tonya...It looks like your home is surrounded by fluffy white crystal goodness! I love this time of year when the sun shines so warmly and the play is so enthusiastic! Your birchbark creations are lovely and novel and so very you:) Blessings, xo Jules
