  3. Beautiful photographs! Thank you for sharing your family life with us and the beauty of where you live. A very happy birthday to Thomas. I think 17 is a wonderful age. For lots of people it brings a growing steadiness and surety about who one is. (Although other people seem to be born with that knowledge!) And there's so much to look forward to.

  5. Hello Tonya...I've been away awhile and was happy to sit and look about your space. Lovely winter happenings over there. And happy birthday.

  6. As a child, we spent hours and hours and HOURS building snow forts. Now, our kids are the only ones on our street who even play outside - they can't wait to get out. This week they were building a 'cougar den' in the pile of snow shovelled off our driveway.

I think being outside in winter is so good for everyone. :)

  11. My mom and step-dad had a place in E.Burke where they planted over 1,000 lilac bushes. I loved to visit them there. Sadly they have both died and I am not sure who has the property now. I love beautiful Vermont. susan
