Bringing Beauty Inside

Today I walked around outside gathering three bouquets as the previous ones were faded.
These for our our dining table.

~the pink wildflowers are musk mallows~

~day lilies for the kitchen windowsill~

~daisies for the bathroom~

There is so much joy in gathering these with my younger children with scissors in hands on this beautiful summer day; bringing beauty from outside - in.
Later, as I walk through our little rustic cottage I smile as admire each beautiful bouquet. I am reminded of God's amazing creation.

What are you gathering, picking, cutting and bringing into your home to admire and enjoy?
Warm wishes, Tonya

(Also, if you have a moment, consider entering a giveaway at the Natural Kids Blog, for a handmade wool crown. I am honored to be a member of this creative and talented Etsy team.)

  1. I truly LOVE flowers inside my home.
    I love flowers.
It's one of my favorite things to do...
    Bring the outdoors in.
Even when there are no flowers blooming around our home, I will bring in twigs with anything green to feel the outdoors inside.

    What am I bringing indoors?
    Hydrangeas~crab apple twigs~daisys~lavender.
    Great Post!

  2. We share the same simple joy in this house! little jars of fresh flowers from our yard seem so much prettier than the bouquets from the store. So cheerful and uplifting :)

  3. I love the little peeks into your home - I see lots of love there. Day lilies and sticks have been most popular this week - and of course the beautiful bouquet of flowers that my daughter received at her ballet recital.

    Lovely post, Nicole

  10. I love walking around my flowers beds and picking them for my home I do this as long as I have flowers blooming . I put mine in mason jars and etc. No fancy vases here. I love simple plain things and I love how they make my home look. In the winter I bring in Juniper, holly and colorful leaves. God Bless.

  11. I bring in lots of wildflower bouquets from my garden: black-eyed Susan, daisy, bee balm, butterfly bush, etc. But just the other day, I sat down at my place for supper, and my sweet husband had picked one perfect blossom from my miniature white rose, and placed it carefully in a tiny crystal glass, just for me. It was the most romantic thought in the midst of an ordinary day, and at each meal, when I see it, I thank God for my husband's love.

  12. I love fresh flowers from my garden in my home too.
There not much in flowers out down here at the monent. I had some little branches of Autumn leaves in a vase I loved the beautiful reds, yellows and oranges.
Sometime leaves are just as beautiful as flowers...:)

  13. I love cutting flowers from the yard and bringing them inside to enjoy. I love the musk mallows....they are one I don't have here. Are they shade lovers or sun lovers? Have a great week.
