When I was carrying Emmy yesterday and pouring chips into a bowl at the same time, she wanted so badly to get a hold of that bag - it makes a wonderful crinkly noise you know.
So I grabbed some fabric squares from my stash and a piece of fabric for the backing, two loops of ribbon for grabbing and sewed up the simply square. After turning right side out, I took a piece from the chip bag and put inside before sewing the final edge.
She does enjoy both the noise it makes and little loops and it was really quick and simple to make.
What a FANTASTIC idea!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. I don't have little ones but will try and remember when I do. God Bless. "Isabella"

seriously amazing! You are so amazing Tonya! What a great idea that I never would have thought of...and yet so darned simple...amazing
ReplyDeleteI'll remember this as we have a grandchild on the way. One thing tho' - watch her w/ those loops... I've heard of babies twirling them around their fingers and cutting of circulation since they don't know to untwirl them from their finger. Most ppl I think are cutting the loops but still leaving the ribbon for baby to hang onto & play with.

ReplyDeleteI love this Tonya!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I make these for my babies too, and all my friends' babies. I put cereal bags in for the crinkle. :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, another awesome idea to add to my ever-growing list of to-do projects!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so smart! Great idea, Tonya. Mira would love one!
ReplyDeleteLove this! I used to just give my little one the empty chip bag(well maybe not so empty) and it kept her busy for quite some time. While it was worth the crumbs on the floor it sure wasn't as pretty as your package. Nice job!
