4!

With a family of nine, we do get to enjoy cake and ice cream fairly often.

Abraham isn't a big fan of the camera.

His only handmade gift this year is a wand.   He showed me that it works well to keep balloons in the air.

It is fun to watch the other children get excited with the decorating, baking, and gift giving, even when it isn't their special day.

  1. It is funny what our eyes are drawn to. I realize it isn't what you were intending to show, but my eye automatically went to the little owl on the slice of wood right next to the star wand. It is adorable.

  3. Too funny! We have one turning 6 today! AND we had one on the 15th too and the 22nd! Then we have one on Feb 2 too. Needless to say we combine these 4 bithdays so the schedules of the big kids can be accomodated. We'll be celebrating, decorating, etc... big time on the 29th!!!
Happy Birthday to your 4 year old!

  4. Happy Birthday to your sweet boy! We had a birthday over the weekend and had a lovely get together. The wand looks great and must be extra special to keep balloons up!:)

  5. That is the loveliest balloon-keeper-upper ever! The colours are great. My 4 year old would surely announce that it is his "best", meaning his favourite.

    Happy 4th birthday to Abraham!
