Sometimes I feel so overwhelmingly blessed that a feeling of sadness comes over me as I think of so many others that live a life of struggle and pain.
I work through the daily chores and hugs and redirecting the children and frustrations when they don't get along... or I feel a bit sick or tired from the pregnancy, but that is about all - that is nothing, so little compared to the trials that others face.Thank you, God, for all of the blessings that you have given me - my life is so full - use me to bless others and work me a little harder each day to be all you intend me to be.
Your photos are full of so much happiness and joy - thank you!
ReplyDeletebless your heart. i feel the same, and i love what you've shared here. and isn't bless one of the most lovely of words and meanings?
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are filled with such joy and happiness - thank you for sharing them with us all.
ReplyDeleteI would say that God is indeed using you to bless others, in many ways! Thank you for this helpful reminder of all we have to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteThis is so true! We are so blessed with abundance here in the US, that it is easy to forget that our little daily hiccups are just that, little. I also struggle with the same daily trials. Fortunately the Lord helps me to see the big picture and the little lives I am investing in.
ReplyDeleteTonya ~
ReplyDeleteIt was a blessing to visit your blog today...connecting by way of the comment you left on mine. Life is full of blessings from our Heavenly Father, if we just stop long enough to see each one.
I, too, am blessed to have an ever growing quiver, good health, a place to call home adorned with the Lord's beauty of creation and simple blessings ... so many things to be grateful for and to share with others.
Blessings to you and your family this Sabbath ~
Thankyou for that. I needed that reminder today and you said it so beautifully!!
ReplyDeleteTonya, how simply put, how beautiful. I find myself thinking these same thoughts during our days- which often seem so uneventful, but the safe, peaceful simplicity is a blessing which so many others do not have the fortune to have! And my heart is full of gratitude!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all you share here. <3
Lovely post and I often feel the same!
ReplyDeleteLife is wonderfull! Beautiful photos
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration for this family. We have decided to follow the path of simplicity in the wilds of East San Diego County. Not as easy as it seems and there are times I would love to pick up and move to greener pastures. But, we are committed here for a time. This is our path.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Helen
You are so inspiring. Your children are so lucky to have you for a mother!
ReplyDeleteTry to rest now and then...you owe it to yourself and the baby!!! As for blessings,at times I feel embarrassed too... being here in this very quiet area. I come from a town in Northern Italy where certain problems are, let me put it this way without offending anybody, more "evident". Here in Nh it is no nice...there is poverty, there are problems but either people are more secretive or there are fewer; or both things together. Or maybe it's me don't seeing well enough, yet...
ReplyDeleteLovely photos today, as always. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeletethank you Father for the ups and downs, joys and pain .... because they all direct us back to You.
ReplyDeleteSo glad i found your blog! what an inspiration!
