More Christmas Joy

We are simply enjoying these peaceful "in between" days -
some light lessons for the children as we took the two weeks prior to Christmas off, game playing, outdoor snow play, goal making, and of course, new handwork project planning.

What are you doing this week?
Warm wishes,
Tonya

  4. Merry Christmas! I'm also enjoying the slow days, as I have the week between Christmas and new years off for the first time since...2006! Oh, the luxury! lol My goal for the week is to kick this cold (sickness, not the weather!) that's seemed to have latched on, and maybe, with enough rest and love, finally be rid of the mono that's been visiting off and on since July. Also looking forward to visiting with a friend I haven't seen in 2 years. Blessings to you and your family for the new year!

  5. We'll rest with colds today, but I'm excited to putter around in my craft and sewing stuff, and get it all set to rights before the weekend. I'm also very excited to visit the library tomorrow, and work up book lists with all the children (and our "spare teen" who'll be learning with us this coming season) to get some interesting learning resources in place.

That we have cold, crisp, brilliant blue skies right now helps a LOT with motivation! It's so lovely!

  6. Oh, that sweet baby! So cute! We're easing back into the week, beginning to take care of some not-so-fun business things that were put off until after Christmas, and also thinking about goals for the new year. Mostly, though, we're still holding onto Christmas awhile longer.
