The other day, while the weather was beautiful outside, and the two little ones were not too motivated to go outside and instead were not getting along very well, I suggested they open a flower shop.
So outside they went with a pair of scissors for each and tray of "vases".
gathering the flowers on top of the chick tractor
Of course I had to buy some bouquets at just 50 cents each.
What a deal! and they are so pretty to boot!
ReplyDeletehow sweet,I think I will suggest this now to my littles:)
ReplyDeleteTonya, I love this! My kids would love it too. Often they'll play "store" but they pretend flowers are money. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little shop! I'm sure both the shop keepers and customers had fun.

All I can think of is the song from the play Oliver, you know, Who will buy my sweet red roses, two blooms for a penny.

awww...what fun...my girls loved doing "shops" when they were little!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I always felt bad for not buying from the children selling lemonade at their little stands, but this, this I would not be able to pass up. How delightful!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I loved doing that kind of thing when I was a child.
ReplyDeleteOhhh! I can never pass up a lemonade stand, children selling toys and I wouldn't be able to pass up a flower sell. Awesome idea.
ReplyDeletelove the stand...I'd have stopped for sure. the bouquets are just wonderful.
