Just Our Days

With a stubborn tooth abscess that is causing oh so much pain , (the dentist wanted to wait until my last trimester or after the baby is born to pull it, but hopefully, I can get it removed on Monday because it is not draining even being on antibiotics), I appreciate the ordinary even more.

Mike and Isaac building the goats a shelter in their fenced in area.  That is our beagle, not one of the goats.

I baked a lemon yogurt cake yesterday and after it was frosted, Abraham took the beeswax candles out and wanted to sing Happy Birthday - so the children sang Happy Birthday to Nobody....

Abby constructed a teepee.

Toad collecting... Abraham picked up this mating pair from the pond's edge.  We returned them to the water right away:)

  2. Tonya, I am so sorry you are experiencing abcess pain, it is the worst, I found placing a clove or two near my abcess did relieve the pain a little. The lemon yogurt cake looks wonderful!

  4. I hope you are feeling *lots* better soon! Love the tepee. I used to make one in the living room on rainy days, using the kitchen chairs and a couple of old sheets. Of course I was much smaller then! :)

  7. Dear Tonya, I hope you are feeling much better soon. I have never had an abscessed but each time I was pregnant my wisdom would bothered me so much, they seemed to be growing a lot, it was painful, like I was teething!
It is always nice to see moments of your everyday. And I so enjoyed and appreciated your recent email, thank you!
    With love, Renee

I'm so sorry for your pain. I've added you to the prayer sheet that I keep near my computer and I will pray daily until you find relief.

  9. I had an abcess and was going to have a root canal but researched about it and found out about oil pulling, I know it sounds daft but it really works, also to ease the pain wash your mouth out with warm water with rock/sea salt in it, swish it all around especially the sore bit, do it a few times a day x

  10. Oh ouch! I hope you're able to get the tooth taken care of soon! The pictures are great, I especially love the toads, my daughter would be in absolute heaven, she wants to go 'hunting' for frogs so bad but we've yet to find a suitable place in suburbia :)
