Nothing says "Fall" like preserving jars! Lovely!
I have always loved that quote Tonya:-) OOOOHHHH pickles --love them! I have baking alot with apples--love this time of year!
I love this quote! We watched the movie "Food Inc." recently, and they should have included this quote in it. We really only grow enough to eat it fresh from the garden. I need to work on my garden planning better :-)Blessings,Marcia
Truly a beautiful post Tonya, thank you for sharing this truth! xo
So true! We're enlarging our garden next year and I am trying to can some things this year. Thanks for sharing that quote! Your food looks delicious!Be well, Angela
This is a wise quote...as most quotes tend to be. I am not against medication, but I do believe that we have a choice in what we put into our bodies. Natural herbs, healthy organic foods is truly the best medicine out there!Thank you Tonya for sharing.be blessed, maria
What a profound quote from Mr. Jefferson. And aren't we seeing today the results of government involvement, government regulation, and government subsidization in our food and pharmaceutical chains ? *sigh* Thank you for sharing the quote and the yummy photo!
Couldn't have said any better T.J. !!!~Samantha
LOVE that quote! I'm with you, keeping food REAL for the health and bodily wealth of my family!xo maureen
Great quote! And sadly, so true.
This is an excellent quote, and I couldnt agree more! What a lovely blog you have here....
I'm blog hopping, came here from farmama - oh but I'm finding some gems today!
Yummy looking preserves! I long for the day I can live entirely off my own produce (im not sure if ill ever get there but it sure is a fun dream:)
And it was as true then as it is now...That T.J. is so very timeless, as is the art of preserving for later. What beautiful jars of wonderful food!
