Wash Wednesday

And now there are two ~

~Mike made Sarah and Abraham their own little hemlock clothesline~

~Sarah with her own wicker laundry basket on her way to the clothesline~

~Sarah decided she wanted to finger knit the lines instead of using rope~

As I remove the clean wet clothes from the washing machine, I put the smaller articles into Sarah's basket.

    oh! this is wonderful! knowing that children are natural mimickers makes us as parents all the more mindful of what they are being exposed to, am i right?

    oh your wee clothesline is really sweet. It is so good that your little ones can do this mindful work. My little guy likes to hand on our wooden drying rack, but he would probably love to have his own line.

    Wonderful, beautiful, sweet! I have a temporary line on the deck, can't decide where to put a permanent one, but you have given me more ideas! And reminded that I need to go get the napkins out of the wash and onto the line...

    I love the rustic design of your clotheslines- for long now I have not been happy with ours- I'll have to show my husband yours! And what can be better than a little one for your little ones?
    Little Sarah looks about my Ollie's age- he is 6 years old. I love that she wanted to finger knit the cords. We have tried finger knitting with Ollie but he can't quite get it yet. We'll keep trying- I'd love to get him knitting with needles next year for grade one!
