And now there are two ~
~Mike made Sarah and Abraham their own little hemlock clothesline~
~Sarah with her own wicker laundry basket on her way to the clothesline~
~Sarah decided she wanted to finger knit the lines instead of using rope~
As I remove the clean wet clothes from the washing machine, I put the smaller articles into Sarah's basket.
~hanging her clothes~
It is with much joy that we are joining in with Gardenmama as she shares clotheslines from all over the world.
Warm wishes, Tonya
I loved hanging out my freshly washed dolls' clothes.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these wash photos! so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteoh! this is wonderful! knowing that children are natural mimickers makes us as parents all the more mindful of what they are being exposed to, am i right?
ReplyDeleteSuch a good little helper you have!
ReplyDeleteOh yes...
ReplyDeleteWe do have to be so mindful of our behavior don't we... children are such little sponges.
Warm wishes, Tonya
Oh wow, My Livy would just love one of these. I wonder if our Wonder dada would pick up tools this weekend to make one..~ Happy wash Wednesday to you Tonya.

oh your wee clothesline is really sweet. It is so good that your little ones can do this mindful work. My little guy likes to hand on our wooden drying rack, but he would probably love to have his own line.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, beautiful, sweet! I have a temporary line on the deck, can't decide where to put a permanent one, but you have given me more ideas! And reminded that I need to go get the napkins out of the wash and onto the line...
ReplyDeleteHow neat that the little ones have a clothesline just their size. Happy washing!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your blog. Thought I'd come out of hiding and comment on this very sweet post. Makes me wish I had a little one again!
ReplyDeleteOh - now I have clothesline envy X 2! Fabulous! I love that your daughter finger knit the lines --it just adds to the magic.

ReplyDeleteI love the rustic design of your clotheslines- for long now I have not been happy with ours- I'll have to show my husband yours! And what can be better than a little one for your little ones?
ReplyDeleteLittle Sarah looks about my Ollie's age- he is 6 years old. I love that she wanted to finger knit the cords. We have tried finger knitting with Ollie but he can't quite get it yet. We'll keep trying- I'd love to get him knitting with needles next year for grade one!
What a sweet little treat for them to have their own clotheslines. :) I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is absolutely lovely Tonya!
ReplyDeleteI love this so very much : )
Gorgeous, and how resourceful our kids can be when we just let them go to create for themselves!
