Perhaps so with your family size -- our family of 5 uses 5 of the 1/2 gallon jars you have pictured each week. Depending on what else we have in the fridge, some weeks they barely fit! But they certainly remain good for a week and even a little more, if freshness is your concern.

This week we are running low! We are on our last jar and milk run day isn't until Friday! Our farm is about 40 minutes away, so we take turns with several other families getting the milk. This week is our turn! The kids love to help fill the jars from the tank. :o)naturalmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15594383847916759287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-826587706231091602.post-75486457919539196402010-02-03T22:52:51.741-05:002010-02-03T22:52:51.741-05:00Can you share some tips on the actual cooking proc...Can you share some tips on the actual cooking process and what you cook? Off the grid - that would be amazing. And milk in glass bottles. Now I'm truly thrilled. Sadly, we cannot buy milk anywhere here in glass bottles. We do buy organic but it comes in plastic. I've been looking at our shopping lately and there is so much plastic - even with all the free range and organic produce we buy. Maybe I need to start wrinting some persuasive letters. I'm going to try to do the unplugged thing for my March small change. I've been starting to mentally prepare for it.

:)LisaHullabaloo Homesteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00922072857698305087noreply@blogger.com
