So far I've stuck with a simple recipe calld "farmhouse cheddar" that "ricki the cheese queen" puts out. It's very easy, I've memorized it and make it every other day. And it is so, so good! AND, I've not even tasted my waxed, aged ones yet, lol! I hope those ones are even better! :) The recipe is in her cheesemaking kit and her book. I just Googled & didn't see it. But if you were interested I could type it out. It calls only for the milk, rennet and starter. I make my own starter super duper simply. I could share that if you were interested as well...<br />:)rootsonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11388745679245539129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-826587706231091602.post-56142685071844334172012-01-31T14:34:52.268-05:002012-01-31T14:34:52.268-05:00that is awesome...you're incredible...homemade...that is awesome...you're incredible...homemade cheese. who knew? thanks for your inspiring life!stitching under oakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03098292946990929930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-826587706231091602.post-50998609329069743042012-01-31T13:33:26.975-05:002012-01-31T13:33:26.975-05:00As someone previously said, stretching it when it&...As someone previously said, stretching it when it's hot is really key.
